Interactive Brokers API Automation and Trading Bot Development
We build Python automation on the Interactive Brokers TWS API and IB Gateway: order execution, TradingView webhook bridges, portfolio monitoring and the risk controls around them.
Interactive Brokers offers one of the most capable retail APIs, covering stocks, options, futures, forex and more across many exchanges. It is also easy to get wrong: lost connections, partial fills and mismatched contract details can leave positions you did not intend.
We build IBKR automation that handles those cases deliberately, and we always start on a paper trading account.
Your account, your control: automation runs on your own brokerage account and infrastructure. We build and test the software to your rules and recommend paper trading first; you approve go-live and remain responsible for trading decisions and compliance.

ib.connect("127.0.0.1", 7497, clientId=1) # 7497: TWS paper trading port
contract = Stock("AAPL", "SMART", "USD")
ib.qualifyContracts(contract) # resolve the exact contract first
order = LimitOrder("BUY", 10, 150.00)
order.transmit = False # stage only: review in TWS before sending
trade = ib.placeOrder(contract, order)
ib.sleep(1)
print(trade.orderStatus.status)
